The small hall at Longhill sports centre is located through main reception, take the right hand corridor. Walk through the double doors, up the stairs. Then turn left and down a small flight of stairs to the hall entrance door.

Parking: Longhill has 89 car park spaces, and often hosts football matches. We suggest you try to car share where possible in case there are matches on that day.

Toilets and amenities are available at the Sports centre, about 5 minutes walk from the event grounds.

Smoking and Vaping is only permitted in the car park or out on the street.

Arrows: Standard AGB indoor arrow rules apply.

Dress

Fancy dress is permitted and there are no other clothing restrictions.

Special rules

We are permitting Asiatic bows at this event. For the description of an Asiatic bow, please refer to AGB’s Rules of Shooting, 206B. There will be no subdivisions for archers shooting a thumb ring or any other style, for example mediterranean.

Rounds

This is an unconventional ‘fun’ round that follows no consistent fixed structure.
Archers will shoot 2 rounds of 5 ends per round.
There will be 2 details per end followed by collection of arrows. Arrows will be shot in ends of a maximum 3 arrows, unless stipulated on each boss instructions. Each detail will have 90 seconds to shoot their end. Targets don’t need to be marked. Bouncers should be confirmed by other archers on your target before calling the judge. There will be no sighters.
Once all archers have shot their ends on the boss and arrows have been collected, archers will rotate on to the next boss in sequence.

Bosses: The targets on each boss vary and follow no traditional scoring zones.
All bow styles will shoot on Tenzone bosses

Awards

Awards will be given for gender + bow categories:

• Seniors – Male
• Seniors – Female
• Juniors – Male (under 18)
• Juniors – Female (under 18)

Juniors are those archers who are 17 years old or under on the day of the competition.

Bow divisions:

• Recurve
• Asiatic
• Barebow
• Long bow & Flatbow
• Compound

Timings

The centre will open at 9:00am.
Registration: Available from 9:30am.
Assembly: 10:15am, then shooting commences.

Lunch break will be allocated at the end of first round.

Prizes

1^st to 3^rd places for classes and divisions where there are 6 or more archers in the category.
1^st and 2^nd places only where there’s 3-5 archers in the category.
1^st place only if there are less than 3 archers in the category.

Other “on-the-spot” prizes may be available for all participants.

Scores

Scoring is defined by the system described at each boss, on the boss instructions.
Any questions about scoring should be raised with the event organiser BEFORE the end commences.

Refreshments

Please bring your own lunch. Refreshments and snacks e.g. chocolate/ice-cream can be purchased at the Longhill Sports Centre reception.
