The indoor range is located within the Longhill Sport Center. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the Tournament Organiser. Please see the map at the bottom.
Parking: Longhill has 89 car park spaces, and often hosts football matches. We suggest you try to car share where possible in case there are matches on that day.
Toilets and amenities are available at the Sports centre, close to the hall.
Smoking and Vaping is only permitted in the car park or out on the street.
Dress
Entrants must dress in accordance with Archery GB dress regulations as shown in Rule 307. Archers must wear footwear that entirely encloses their feet, and may not wear frayed, camouflage, or blue denim clothing, or clothes that carry non-archery advertising.
Assembly Times
There will be 2 sessions as follows:
- Session 1 – Vegas round: 09.00 hrs
- Session 2 – Worchester round: 13.30 hrs
Sighters to follow immediately after Assembly. Access to Hall from 8.15 am.
There will be a Prizegiving after each Session.
Rounds
Morning session: Vegas Round
Afternoon session: Worcester round
Vegas round specifics:
Distance: 18m, Target size: 40 cm triple spot. The targets are numbered 1-2-3 and must be shot in an ascending order. Your arrows must also be numbered and you must shoot them in an ascending order. People shooting the top two target faces will switch to shooting the bottom two after 30 arrows.
Worcester round specifics:
Distance: 20 yards, Target size: 16″ black and white or 5 -spot black and white.
5 arrow ends. Halfway through, after 6 ends, each archer who shot the top 2 targets switches to the bottom ones and vice versa. Scores: 1,2,3,4,5,M, Maximum score: 300.
Bosses: All bow styles will shoot on Tenzone bosses, one Eleven boss may be in use if necessary.
Entries
Entries open at the 29th of November.
Entries close at the 14th of February.
Once the 40 spaces have been filled, we will operate a waiting list.
You can sign up for this competition using the form on this very page once the entries open. Your successful registration will be marked by a small message next to the ‘Submit’ button and an e-mail in your inbox.

Entry fee: £16 per archer per session, payable via PayPal upon entry.
No refunds after the closing date. Any refund issued will have the PayPal fees deducted, if there was any. ie. You may receive less than £16 refund.
Special Requirements: Please detail your requirements in the Special Requirements input box of the entry form if you require anything such as wheelchair/stool space, arrow scorer/collector etc.
Awards
Awards will be given for gender + bow categories and WA age groups.
Record Eligibility: This competition is eligible for County and UK records.
Timings
Access to hall from 8:15am.
Registration: Available from 8:30am.
Assembly:
- Morning session: 09:00am, followed by two ends of sighters, then shooting commences.
- Afternoon session: 13:30 UNLESS all archers are there and ready earlier and the morning session has finished earlier. This will be followed by two ends of sighters, then shooting commences.
A short comfort break can be included if requied.
Prizes
Numbers dependent on entries per division per category.
Scores
There will be single scoring. All scores will be processed by the Brighton Bowmen Tournament Organiser and their team.
Refreshments
Please bring your own lunch. Refreshments and snacks e.g. chocolate/ice-cream can be purchased at the Longhill Sports Centre reception.

Payment can be made via PayPal only, please use the following details:
Send as ‘to Friends and Family’, to tournaments@brightonbowmen.net.
Add reference: ‘BBIN26-VEG’ or ‘BBIN26-WOR’ followed by a space then your AGB number. If you’re entering for both, use ‘BBIN26-BOTH’.
Example: if your AGB number is 12345678 then your reference is ‘BBIN26-VEG 12345678’.
If you’re paying for multiple people, please include everyone’s AGB numbers, separated by spaces.
(Paypal doesn’t have a character limit for their reference field)
Photography
Please understand that photos may be taken at this event. If you wish to be excluded from any official photography, please select ‘No’ in the Photo Consent dropdown.
